The Cheat Day
Many people find it difficult to go an extended period of time without their
favorite foods. The best way to overcome this is to implement one cheat day per
week.
According to the latest nutrition research, people are more likely to stick
with any program if they are allowed one "cheat day" a week. First, it helps prevent
people from developing a psychology of deprivation, which usually leads to
binge eating, which causes people to fail and gain more weight. Second, purposely
overeating one day per week actually supports fat burning metabolism
by not allowing the body to adapt to the same caloric activity day in and day
out.
Suggested use
The best way to use Wellnetix® is to use two
shakes twice daily in conjunction with 3 additional whole food meals, outlined
in our guidelines manual. Follow the program for at least 6 consecutive days prior to "cheat day." For example if your cheat day is on Saturday, be sure to followthe Wellnetix® program Sunday through Friday for a total of 6 consecutive daysbefore allowing yourself to have a cheat day. You can have any of your favorite
foods on your "cheat day" such as pizza, cheeseburgers, fries, doughnuts, etc.
You name it, you can have it.
NOTE: During your designated "cheat day,"you can eat whatever you want and as much as you want so long as you do not exceed 12 consecutive hours. (you do not have to use your Wellnetix meal replacement products during your cheat day, but be sure to start right back on them the next day!) For example if your "cheat day" starts at 9am, you must end the "cheat day" at 9pm the same day. Your "cheat day" can be on any day of the
week, so long as you follow the Wellnetix® program for 6 consecutive days prior
to the "cheat day." For best results, prepare your foods at home while following
the program and reserve eating out in restaurants on your "cheat day."
